Thurs.:

Dancing with Fire
Lorraine will cover mechanics of twirling torches with dance, a technique that can be applied to spinning poi, as well as safe fire handling. There will be no actual fire during this session and there is no experience necessary to take this class. What students will need for the class: Please bring practice poi (long tube socks with hacky sacs will do). A yoga mat, foot covers and knee pads are always recommended for TF workshops. All levels welcome.

Tribal Feat Combos
Cynthia and Lorraine will share their signature combinations. This workshop will include stretching and strengthening drills for warm up, lead by Cynthia. You are welcome to incorporate these sassy moves into your unique performance. What students will need for the class: Bring your brain and body. A yoga mat, foot covers and knee pads are always recommended for TF workshops. Intermediate/advanced dancers.

Dance Shop Fusion
Cynthia and Lorraine will introduce movements inspired by Modern, Jazz, and Hip Hop (sorry, no Tap). This workshop will include stretching and strengthening drills for warm up, lead by Cynthia. You are welcome to add these moves into your tribal fusion improv and choreographic vocabulary. These combinations will be adaptable to fit your own stylizations and needs. What students will need for the class: A little bit of soul! A yoga mat, foot covers and knee pads are always recommended for TF workshops. Intermediate/advanced dancers.
